The Vall d'Ebo fire is still not stabilized. This has been announced by Pepe Cerda, spokesman for the Alicante Provincial Firefighters Consortium. Cerdá has pointed out that there are different points that cannot be attended due to the orographic difficulty and the wind, since the weather is making the extinction tasks difficult.

Aerial means are working in the most sensitive areas preventing it from spreading with progression and forest mass. At 14:00 p.m., Firefighters reported that the fire had already burned 2200 hectares and has a perimeter of 10km with different complicated points.

The Regional Minister, Gabriela Bravo, and the president of the Alicante Provincial Council, Carlos Mazón, attended the Advanced Command Post. Both have received the last hour of information on the evolution of the fire. For her part, Gabriela Bravo, has pointed out that there are 250 troops and 16 aerial means working on the ground; "We are very aware of the weather forecast to make decisions to protect people and evict them from their homes."

From the Alicante Firefighters Consortium they report that the number of troops has increased, being at this time (13:00 p.m.); 30 vehicles, 51 firefighters from the Consortium and 71 forest firefighters work on land. From the air, there are already 16 media outlets working on extinction. The councilor has indicated that from land the troops continue without being able to act in all areas due to the difficult orography of the place.

From the UME (Military Emergencies Unit) they report that an Army helicopter with a helibalde has been unloading on the forest fire since noon and it is planned that this afternoon another one equipped with a wescam will be incorporated for reconnaissance work.
