The program, which will reach all the consistories that have requested it correctly in a timely manner, contemplates the development of disinsection processes in those localities that, due to the special characteristics of their territory, register a greater presence of populations of culicids (mosquitoes) and simúlidos (black flies).
The deputy for the Environment, Miguel Ángel Sánchez, highlights the importance of this action to prevent the proliferation of these insects and protect the ecosystem.
"The commitment of the Diputación with the town councils of the province to face the proliferation of these insects is such that, for the second consecutive year, we have increased the financial endowment of the plan, this time, by 80.000 euros", highlighted the Deputy for the Environment and Energy, Miguel Ángel Sánchez.
Restoration of areas degraded by waste dumping
On the other hand, the Provincial Council will restore different areas degraded by the uncontrolled dumping of waste, among which are two municipalities of the Marina Alta, Benitatxell and Tormos.
Cleaning and removal of rubble, furniture and abandoned belongings will be carried out and the landscaping improvement of the plots and the recovery of the vegetation cover in the area are contemplated.
